The company has two distinct business areas: i) its healthcare division, based on the concept of personalized medicine (through its different affiliates IOR -Instituto Oncológico Dr. Rosell-, IBCC -International Breast Cancer Center-, IOB -International Oncology Bureau-, and QTI -Quenet Torrent Institute-), active in some of most important hospitals of the Quirónsalud Group in Spain; and (ii) its services division to the pharmaceutical industry, through a state-of-the-art laboratory with proprietary technology and a research team of the highest excellence, where the Company works for the world's leading pharmaceutical companies. Pangaea has a high research and development component, focused on proprietary diagnostitechnologies (with special emphasis on Liquid Biopsy and NGS -Next Generation Sequencing-), and a platform of more than 400 in vitro models that allow optimization of new drugs in development, generating more than 75 scientific publications in peer reviewed journals, per year. In the future, the company's R&D strategy will be complemented with early cancer detection technologies and Big Data and Artificial Intelligence models.
