Bjørn Sibbern has been Global Head Exchanges and Member of the Executive Board of SIX since January 2024. He is responsible for both the Swiss and Spanish Exchanges, as well as the digital exchange SDX. Bjørn Sibbern has experience managing large teams in the fields of trading, funds, post-trade, listings, IPOs, data, index business, and technology. Before joining SIX, he served as Executive Vice President and President of European Markets at Nasdaq. In this role, he led the Nasdaq markets and exchanges across the Nordic and Baltic regions. He was also responsible for trading, listing, clearing, settlement, and the data business in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland, and the Baltic nations. Prior to this, Mr. Sibbern was Executive Vice President and responsible for Nasdaq global data, data & analytics and index business working out of Nasdaq headquarter in New York. Before joining Nasdaq, Bjørn Sibbern was CEO at E*TRADE Bank Denmark from 2006 to 2008 and held key roles at OMX and Stocknet Norway. Carlos San Basilio

Carlos San Basilio was born in Lugo in September 1965. He holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He joined the Cuerpo Superior de Técnicos Comerciales y Economistas del Estado by competitive examination in 1990. Subsequently, he obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University in 1997. Throughout his professional career, he has held various positions of responsibility at both national and international level. Since 2024, he has held the position of Chairman of the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV). Between 2021 and 2024, he was Director of Corporate Strategy at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Previously, between 2018 and 2021, he served as Secretary General of the Treasury and International Finance. As part of his public functions, he has been a board member of the CNMV, the Bank of Spain and the Fund for Orderly Bank Restructuring (FROB). He was also Director General of the Treasury between 2016 and 2018, and Director of Resolution at the FROB between 2015 and 2016. He also served as financial advisor to the European Union (2013-2015), director general of State Assets (2012), and director general at COFIDES (2010-2012). Between 2004 and 2010, he was executive director of the Public Debt Market (MTS). His extensive experience and knowledge in the financial and market fields have made him a key figure in the economic and regulatory system in both Spain and the EU.

Carlos Mijangos graduated in Civil Engineering at Universidad Politécnica (Madrid) and has a postgraduate course in Business Administration at IESE (Madrid). Over his more than 30years of experience in the construction and infrastructure industry he has worked in management, business development, project finance and M&A transactions related to infrastructure projects (roads, subways, light rail trains, hospitals, transportation hubs, airports, ports) in different companies. Carlos joined the Sacyr Group in 2006. In his various positions at Sacyr Concessions, he was responsible for Business Development and Operations management and held the position of CEO of Sacyr Concessions until September 2015. He has been a member of the Board of Directors of numerous assets in eight countries (Spain, Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru), and has been involved in several tenders and M&A transactions with infrastructure funds, pension funds, and family offices. Ángel Gavilán is the Director General of Economics and Statistics and a member of the Executive Commission of the Banco de España, as well as Alternate to the Governor on the Governing Council of the European Central Bank. He is also a member of the Eurosystem's Monetary Policy Committee and of the Economic and Financial Committee of the European Union . He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago (2005), a Master's degree in Economics from Pompeu Fabra University (1999) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Oviedo (1998). He began his professional career in 2005 at the Bank of Spain, where he joined as a graduate economist in the Research Division. Between 2012 and 2016, worked at BBVA. Miguel Cardoso is Chief Economist for Spain at BBVA Research, where he leads a team of 13 economists dedicated to the macroeconomic, sector and regional analysis of the Spanish economy. Ángel Benito Benito was born in Guadalajara in October 1961. He holds a degree in Business Studies from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and a Master's degree in Financial Management and Management Control from the Instituto de Empresa (1993). In addition, he has taken several specialised courses in market supervision at international organisations. Since May 2021, he has held the position of Director General of Markets at the CNMV. Previously, he was a director of the CNMV between January 2017 and April 2021, and had already served as Director General of Markets between 2000 and January 2017. Previously, he worked as Deputy Director of the Primary Markets Division, in the CNMV's Issues Area (1993-2000), and as a technician in the Issuers Division of the same body (1990-1993). He began his professional career at the Ministry of Economy and Finance (1982-1986) and subsequently worked as a financial analyst at the Ahorro Corporación Group and at Analistas Financieros Internacionales between 1986 and 1990. He has actively participated in the dissemination of knowledge in financial and regulatory matters, being a speaker at numerous courses organised by the General Council of the Judiciary, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of the Interior. He has also been a member of the European Commission's working group on Corporate Governance and has participated in numerous technical working groups within the European Commission.

Carla Díaz is the Director General of the Treasury and Financial Policy at the Spanish Ministry for Economy, Trade and Business. In this capacity, she is responsible for the Treasury’s competences in financial regulation, including sustainable finances, in funding and treasury management and in the prevention of money laundering. From January 2021 to February 2024 she was Director of Resolution at FROB, responsible for FROB’s competencies in resolution and in charge of coordinating FROB’s international activities. Cristina Álvarez Méndez has more than 30 years of experience in the financial sector. Although she began her career in the capital markets, at the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (ICO) and Deutsche Bank, most of her work experience has been in the area of investment and portfolio management in Private Banking entities such as Credit Suisse Private Banking, Fortis Bank and BNP Paribas Wealth Management.
